The Gremio striker has been strongly linked with a move to Inter Miami heading into the January transfer window, with Suarez expected to become the Heron’s latest superstar signing.

And the forward’s relationship with Messi could be key to such a transfer, with Suarez forming an incredible partnership with the attacker during their Barcelona days.

Indeed, Messi’s role in bringing Suarez to Inter Miami will be key, and ongoing conversations between the pair will be vital in a transfer happening in January.

Whilst recent reports have suggested that Suarez could now stay at Gremio, there’s no denying that the striker is interested in a move to MLS with Inter Miami.

Messi’s blockbuster switch to the division this summer has once again put a spotlight on MLS and has now become arguably the most lucrative league outside of Europe and Saudi Arabia.

And Messi has to do all he can to bring Suarez to Inter Miami, with the reigning Ballon d’Or holder seemingly keen to reunite with his former attacking teammate.

With conversations between the two ongoing, Inter Miami has surely crept up, and Messi must do what he can to ensure the forward decided to swap Brazil for Miami this January.
