Romeo Beckham has this week featured for Brentford’s senior team having signed for the Premier League club this summer from Inter Miami.
The son of Heron’s owner and soccer legend David Beckham, the 21-year-old forward came off the bench in the Bees’ behind-closed-doors friendly against Championship side Watford.
With Beckham senior basking in the limelight after the release of his Netflix documentary and plans to bring David De Gea to Inter Miami, Romeo is quietly going about his business with Brentford.

As per Brentford’s official website, Beckham’s ‘dangerous deliveries’ led to numerous chances for the west London side as Watford managed to secure a win against Thomas Frank’s side.
Indeed, Beckham swapping Florida for the English capital for good earlier this year is a testament to the winger’s ability, with the youngster impressing for Inter Miami’s development squad in 2022.
And it’s now encouraging to see the 21-year-old continue his rise in football at Brentford, a club known for their ability to develop young players and to transform them into superstars.
Romeo Beckham can make Inter Miami proud with professional Brentford debut

Whilst Beckham was unable to make a professional appearance for Inter Miami, the winger could still achieve this dream with Brentford in the Premier League if things go to plan.
Minutes for the senior squad in a mid-season friendly is an encouraging sign that Beckham is highly rated at Brentford, who are about to embark into the busy festive period of the English soccer calendar.
With the FA Cup also on the horizon, a first-team debut could be on the table for Beckham, a moment that will make Inter Miami pleased given that he was in their academy for some time.
Moreover, such a moment would be another huge win for MLS, who in recent years have made quite a sizeable impact on the Premier League with the likes of Miguel Almiron, Tyler Adams and Jack Harrison.
