Inter Miami have reportedly reached an agreement to loan out Emerson Rodriguez to Turkish club Rizespor.
The 23-year-old winger has been strongly linked with a move away from the Herons in recent weeks, with Mexican side Santos Laguna and Colombian giants Millonarios all linked with Rodriguez.
Having not traveled with Inter Miami on their worldwide pre-season tour, there was always an expectation that Rodriguez would be sold or loaned out before the closure of any international transfer windows.
And according to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, an agreement has now been reached with Turkish Super Lig side Rizespor to loan out Rodriguez for the remainder of the European season.
Currently sat fifth in the division, Rizespor have been one of the surprise packages in Turkey this season having last summer signed former England international Jonjo Shelvey.
Indeed, it’s clear Inter Miami have no real plans for Rodriguez since returning from Santos last month, and a move to Europe could open a door for the winger to get his career back on track.

Rodriguez joined Inter Miami as one of Colombia’s most exciting prospects, yet things just haven’t worked out for the 23-year-old since making the move to MLS.
A good loan spell in Mexico last year potentially hinted towards a return to Tata Martino’s side, yet it appears that Rodriguez will now be heading out again on a temporary deal.
Yet the decision to loan out Rodriguez to Rizespor could be a good one, especially with how well the Turkish side have been performing this season.
A completely new culture and environment could also be massively beneficial for Rodriguez, who could be suited to the Turkish Super Lig and playing regularly in a top European division.
