Seven Inter Miami players have been called up to their respective national teams ahead of FIFA’s November international window.
Lionel Messi, Kamal Miller, Facundo Farias, Benjamin Cremaschi, David Ruiz, Robert Taylor, and Diego Gomez will represent their countries during the two-week period.
The highest-profile name on this list is Messi, who will partake in Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil on November 16th and 21st.
Inter Miami ended 2023 early after missing out on the post-season. Miami played its final game of the year on November 10th against NYCFC.
After the window, the Herons will shut down for the year ahead of their highly anticipated 2024 season.
Inter Miami awaits 2024

Inter Miami’s 2023 was a season of highs and lows.
Although the South Florida side won its first title in club history, the Herons failed to keep up that momentum and crashed out of the post-season race.
Moreover, the Heron’s attempt to commemorate Messi’s eighth Ballon d’Or by hosting the ‘Noche d’Or’ celebration fizzled out as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at home vs. NYCFC.
The organization won’t want to make the same mistakes next year.
According to head coach Tata Martino, Miami will look to make changes to the squad next season: “We have to be precise. I’m conscious of the fact when you want to improve the team, you have to take risks. For what lies ahead, it’s evident we need to improve.”
Miami wants to improve in a big way. Messi has even gone on to say that he would like to win more trophies next year.
With the likely acquisition of Luis Suárez and the potential formation switch to a 3-5-2, Inter Miami is prepping a roster that will be ready to challenge for MLS Cup in 2024.
